User interviews are a valuable research method that helps provide insights into users' preferences, thoughts, and feelings. By engaging in guided conversations with participants, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of the user experience and usability of a product or service.

A moderated usability test is a supervised evaluation conducted between a researcher or moderator and a user participant. During this test, the moderator and participant are in the same "virtual" space, allowing direct communication and control of the session.
